The Centre Director, Augusta Marais (B.Bc. Cert.Ed), is a fully qualified teacher with several years teaching experience in Milton Keynes. Together with twelve other teachers our expertise cover pre-school to GCSE's.
- We provide a free assessment based on the parents' concerns. This is a good opportunity for parents and youngsters to view the centre and get a feel for the help that is available.
- We will suggest a programme of study and explain the format of the sessions.
- If the young person and parents like what they see then a suitable session time is reserved and the student is enrolled.
Students attend a weekly session of 80 minutes and will have about 6 different activities to complete from their own individualised programme of work plus some activities for homework. The tuition is given in small groups of 3 to 5 students. This arrangement allows for one-to-one help whilst also fostering independence and self-organisation.
