Before we commence tutoring, we undertake a comprehensive educational assessment which is free of charge and without obligation. Margaret Carmichael will discuss the results in full with parents and will highlight any areas of weakness. The results will enable her to create an individual programme of learning for your child.
The Kip McGrath method of Teaching
Kip McGrath include a combination of
computer,
oral and
written activities. Although each tutor is responsible for up to 5 pupils, no pupil has the same programme and the emphasis is on one-to-one teaching where each pupil learns at his/her own pace. The specially tailored programmes are highly motivating and, combined with the relaxed but industrious atmosphere, allow pupils to gain confidence in their own abilities in an area where they may previously have had low expectations or self-esteem.
Catering for individuality, Kip McGrath
focuses upon and rewards the positive achievements in all pupils, and so developing an enthusiasm for success in a
fun and friendly environment. Homework, which is an integral component of the tuition, is set weekly and marked and discussed at the following session. The programmes and homework are designed to enhance rather than replace pupil’s schoolwork.

Location of Kip McGrath East Kilbride Tutors
The centre is situated in the "village" of East Kilbride in Hunter Street, minutes from the Town Centre. There is "drop off" parking behind the centre.
The centre is next door to a local dentist. It is a spacious, well- resourced, pleasant learning environment, staffed by professional, fully qualified teachers.
