Maths and English Tuition in Dunfermline with Kip McGrath Tuition Centre

Kip McGrath Dunfermline are delighted to announce the opening of our new tuition centre in Queensferry Road, Dunfermline in August 2012.  Our fully qualified maths and English tutors provide tuition for children aged 5 - 18 from Primary one to Higher Grade level in both English and mathematics using a combination of exclusive Kip McGrath written and online resources. 

All English and maths tutors are fully qualified teachers, highly experienced with working knowledge of the local school curriculum and have full PVG Disclosure certificates.

Meet the New Owner of Kip McGrath Tutoring Centre in Dunfermline

I am Gerald Casserly and I am the new owner of the Kip McGrath Dunfermline Tutoring Centre from August 2012. Our new premises are located at Queensferry roundabout near the Dunfermline Building Society and sports grounds. 

I originally graduated with an MA in Economics and Psychology and in 2001 completed a Post Graduate in Education.  For the past 10 years I have taught in schools in the Stirling district and also tutored at the Kip McGrath centre in Stirling for the past three years. 

I particularly loved teaching children at Kip McGrath as I felt I could spend individual time with each child and really make a positive impact on their education.  When I heard that the Dunfermline Kip McGrath centre was closing, I grabbed the opportunity to open my own new Kip McGrath centre to continue to offer the high level of tuition that Kip McGrath offers local students.

How Kip McGrath Dunfermline Tutor in English and Maths

Once we have assessed your child's academic abilities in English and/or maths, results and an individual tuition plan are discussed in full with parents.

If you and your child are happy, a tutoring time slot will be allocated and we will then create a lesson plan targeted specifically to the student's individual needs.

Each session lasts for 80 minutes and is broken into segments of one to one tuition, written work, computer work and then more individual time with the teacher.

Targets are set for the following week and a little homework is provided to complete.

We ask that parents do not help their children with this homework.

Students will be regularly re-assessed and progress discussed in full with the parents
