Welcome to the regional page for Ireland. We are Leonora O Donnell and Pat Concannon, ‘Franchise Support Managers’ in Ireland and franchise owners since 2007.

With over 30 years teaching experience between us we are very passionate about education. When we started looking at the business opportunity we believed that there was a real drive towards education within the local area and we believed that we could offer something more to local children and local families. Being teachers and parents ourselves, we could understand just how committed local families were to giving their children the best possible education and to maximizing their potential. We believed that we had the passion for teaching and that Kip McGrath had the correct business model and educational resources to enable us to be successful.

About the franchisees in Ireland…

Currently there are seven Kip McGrath Centres in these are based in Ballymena, Bangor, Belfast, Derry, Dublin, Lisburn and Omagh. Each centre is owned and operated by fully qualified teachers from a variety of teaching backgrounds, including former head teachers, primary school teachers, grammar school teachers, secondary school teachers, from both state and maintained schools, offering a wealth of expertise and experience. Some of our teacher/owners are married couples, some are siblings and some of our centres are run by individual teacher/owners. Our common thread is that we are passionate about teaching and we all wanted the opportunity to own and run a successful tutoring business.

Five days of intensive training on Kip McGrath teaching methods, how to run a business and how to develop a successful Kip McGrath centre in Ireland.
